Students

CREEL welcomes students from a wide variety of backgrounds. Just as teachers are drawn from academia, the professions, industry and government administration, so too are the students. The courses for the Graduate Diploma in Energy and Resources Law and the Master of Commercial Law attract both lawyer and non-lawyer graduates from throughout Australia and the Asia/Pacific region.

Students enrolled in single subjects for continuing education purposes are an important element in the mix with Degree and Graduate Diploma students. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds (for example law, engineering, geology, science, finance, general management) and make very valuable contributions to class discussions and case studies.

Eligibility for courses

  • Law graduates may take CREEL subjects as part of the Master of Laws course.
  • Law graduates and graduates in other disciplines with relevant practical experience, may take CREEL subjects as part of the Master of Commercial Law course.
